Johnson hails Walker heroics

Yeovil boss Gary Johnson branded Sam Walker as Premier League class as he produced a sensational display at the weekend.

A point for the Glovers in the goalless draw at Bournemouth on Saturday has all but secured their survival in League One this term, after a rocky first half to the season saw them lingering in the relegation zone. And Yeovil's share of the spoils was largely thanks to on-loan goalkeeper Walker, who was on top form against the Cherries, making at least half a dozen top quality saves to keep his team in the game. Johnson told the Western Daily Press: "He has come good today and looked that Premier goalie he is going to be. I find it hard when people moan at keepers. "If I was to give you a pair of gloves, put you out there and have the lads shoot at you, you would definitely shift yourself. "When you have got those gloves on you have got to be brave and he was brave today and showed exactly what he had in his repertoire."
