Long-term injury absentee Onismor Bhasera could be back in action for Plymouth later this month as he recovers from a knee injury.

The left-sided player has been told by a consultant that he can step up his training programme as he makes his way back from a torn cruciate knee ligament. The Zimbabwean international has been sidelined since sustaining the injury in a game against Hartlepool at the beginning of March. Speaking to the Western Morning News, Argyle's caretaker manager Carl Fletcher said: "He went to see his consultant last week to make sure everything was on track and he was given the green light to step things up in training. "We are taking it day by day with him. We have got to be careful with him because he has had a bad injury. But, fingers crossed, he will be available to play again towards the end of October. "I see Bas every day, and he seems fine. He has been doing his work in the gym."
