Butler confident of survival

Walsall skipper Andy Butler is convinced his side have what it takes to stay in League One this season.

The Saddlers, currently bottom of the table, went down to a 4-2 defeat against Huddersfield on Saturday but 27-year-old Butler believes there are signs of improvement under caretaker manager Dean Smith. "We are getting better, that's the main thing," said the defender. "The players believe in themselves again and if we keep believing, I'm sure we will be fine. "When a new manager comes in the lads are keen to impress and if we play in every game like we did against Huddersfield, we will win more than we lose."
