Lee delighted with Fergie return

Charlie Lee believes the return of Darren Ferguson has boosted Peterborough's chances of gaining promotion this season.

The 24-year-old midfielder, who has been given a new lease of life after being frozen out by former boss Gary Johnson, believes confidence has soared in the London Road changing room since Ferguson's return, and that promotion is again a real possibility. Lee told the Evening Telegraph: "Darren is such a positive person it rubs off on everyone else. We have always believed we are capable of promotion this season, but the confidence is sky high now. "I was pleased to see Darren come back. Those of us who had played for him before knew how good he was, but maybe some of the newer lads weren't so sure. "But they've bought into his ideas quickly and it showed on Saturday. We played a different system, but the lads coped with it and we will get better as we get used to it."
