Lambe waiting on Rovers offer

Bermuda international midfielder Reggie Lambe is hoping for a move to Bristol Rovers before deciding on any other offers.

Lambe is currently training in the Caribbean after being released by Ipswich after enjoying a loan spell at the Memorial Stadium last season. But that was under Stuart Campbell who has now been replaced by former Torquay boss Paul Buckle at Rovers. "I'm hoping to get a deal with Bristol Rovers, I really enjoyed my time there and would like to move there permanently," Lambe told the Royal Gazette. "They didn't really have a manager in place but that's been sorted now, so I'm waiting to see what happens. I expect they will be talking to my agent within the next two weeks and I'm hoping they offer me something. "There have been other offers. I haven't turned a blind eye to them but I want to see what happens with Rovers first."
