Hartlepool boss Mick Wadsworth is grateful for the recognition after being nominated for the September's manager of the month award.
Pools goalkeeper Scott Flinders is also on the shortlist for the player gong and Wadsworth believes both nominations reflect on everyone involved with the club. Wadsworth told the club's official website: "The nominations show that the club has been doing something right in the early part of the season. "Being on the shortlist can only reflect the hard work that has gone in from all of the coaching staff and players during the last month and more." Wadsworth added: "I'm delighted to see Scott Flinders' name on the shortlist because I think he's been terrific all season long."
