Nelson points to whole team

Defender Michael Nelson refuses to lay the blame for poor results solely on the Scunthorpe's inability to convert chances.

The Iron, who crashed out of the FA Cup against AFC Wimbledon this week, have not won any of their last four games in all competitions and manager Alan Knill claimed missed chances were costing them. Scunthorpe have failed to score in five of their last seven games, but Nelson told the club's official website: "We win as a team and lose as a team. It's not just the finishing touch though that's costing us, it's everywhere. "You can't just put it down to one thing. It's about being bright in both boxes and having the desire to keep the ball out of the net, as well as to put it in at the other end. "It's all across the board really where it's affecting us, you can't just single one area out."
