Reeves joins Wombles on loan

AFC Wimbledon manager Neal Ardley has signed Brentford midfielder Jake Reeves on a two-month loan deal.

The 19-year-old will go straight into the Dons boss' squad for Tuesday night's trip to Exeter. Ardley told the club website: "I first saw Jake play in an under-21s match against Cardiff and he stood out in that game. "Simon Bassey has scouted him recently and the feedback we have had from other contacts about him has been outstanding. That made it a no-brainer to sign him and he will boost our midfield options." The Dons have also extended Norwich youngster George Francomb's loan deal until the end of November. The 21-year-old, a right-back who can also play in midfield, is expected to return to the Dons' starting line-up at Exeter after he was ineligible for Saturday's 1-1 FA Cup draw at York.
