Tranmere boss Ronnie Moore was left cursing a 'stupid' free-kick which denied his side a place back at the top of League One.
Abdulai Bell-Baggie's first career league goal gave Rovers a 29th-minute lead over Notts County at Prenton Park on Tuesday night, but back came the visitors and Neal Bishop headed in Alan Judge's free-kick to deny Tranmere all three points. "It was a stupid free-kick to concede for their goal," said Moore. "We said about not giving away set-plays because that is what their strengths are. "We fought and scrapped. They are a good side, there's no doubt about that. "The two wingers are lively, but they don't really like defending do they? And that's really where we didn't really keep the ball on the counter-attack. "For the goal we've got, we've kept the ball, played a great pass and Abs has gone in and scored. We just needed to push on from there. I just thought we got a little bit nervous and anxious. "And then we got a little bit of luck, which we haven't had recently, where the lad has hit a post and we could have been looking at a defeat."
