Scunthorpe skipper Paul Reid is to start full training for the first time this season after suffering injury in pre-season.
The 30-year-old defender is yet to make an appearance for the Iron this term. Reid had metal plates removed from the hand a fortnight ago and has since partaken in strengthening exercises. But he has now been given the green light to rejoin his team-mates on Thursday and could soon come into contention. Manager Alan Knill will be delighted at the return of his captain coinciding with his side's recent unbeaten run.
