Crewe midfielder Luke Murphy says he's fully recovered from the hernia operation that ruled him out of the final month of last season.
The 21-year-old limped out of the 2-1 defeat at Barnet in April with the problem, but has returned to pre-season training and is raring to go. Murphy told BBC Radio Stoke: "It was disappointing but, as stupid as it sounds, it probably happened at a good time at the end of the season. "We weren't going up or down so I was happy to get the operation out of the way. "It was getting to the stage where I couldn't really run so I was happy to have it and then be raring to go for this season. "It seems to be going well and I can't really complain."
