Crewe Alexandra's Antoni Sarcevic joins Evo-Stick Premier side Chester, subject to approval from the Football League.

The 19-year-old spent two months on loan at the Deva Stadium last season and returned to make his Crewe debut against Northampton in January. Sarcevic went on to score in that game but has since struggled to break into Crewe's starting XI. The midfielder, who has signed an 18-month contract, is set to make his debut for his new club against Matlock Town on Saturday. Meanwhile, Alex boss Steve Davis is expecting a tough afternoon when his Crewe side travel to Morecambe this weekend. "They're really going to fight and are not going to lie down. It's going to be a tough game in a decent atmosphere," said Davis. "We're going to have to be working hard and show that commitment to get the result. We have done well away from home and we're going to have to show the same resilience we showed at Wimbledon and Cheltenham to get a result."
