Hess praises strike partnership

Gillingham's new strike partnership of Frank Nouble and Danny Kedwell has received praise from boss Andy Hessenthaler.

Nouble only arrived at Priestfield 11 days ago on a month-long loan from West Ham but has already made an instant impact in attack alongside summer signing Kedwell, with the pair hitting it off straight away. The loanee bagged a debut goal in last weekend's 6-1 romp at Hereford before finding the target again in Saturday's 3-1 victory over Burton, with Kedwell hitting a brace. Hessenthaler said: "Frank is enjoying his football and he took his goal well. He's a big strong boy, he's quick and him and Kedwell have got off to a good start together. "They're starting to get a good understanding with one another and it's always great for both of your forwards to score."
