Slade aims for nine in a row

Leyton Orient manager Russell Slade wants to be on cloud nine against Scunthorpe next weekend.

The O's have won their last eight matches in all competitions with Saturday's 2-0 victory over Bury lifting them to 11th in League One. Even more remarkable is the fact six of those matches have been on the road, so Slade wants to give the club's well-travelled fans something to cheer about at home as they go for win number nine against the Iron. "We're looking well oiled at the moment and we've just got to keep that going," said Slade. "The fans have been treated recently away from home and it will be nice to get home for the game next week. "Six out of our last seven games have been played away so the fans have done some travelling and at least they can go home with a smile on their face."
