Yates reveals transfer concern

Cheltenham manager Mark Yates has admitted that his attempts to attract new talent is taking longer than he would have liked.

Only Sam Deering and Billy Jones have been added to the Robins' squad so far this summer, and Yates concedes that he has been unable to complete deals with his transfer targets. He told the Gloucestershire Echo: "We will have more players, it's just taking a bit longer than I wanted to. "We are working tirelessly, but I've missed out on a couple. "I'd almost like to apologise to my players that I haven't got any more bodies in. "I thought I'd have added two by now and while it's not back to drawing board, we just have to move on."
