Huddersfield winger Danny Ward will play a crucial role in Lee Clark's promotion plans during the second half of the season.

Ward, 20, has rediscovered his best form for Town in their last two matches since returning from a three-game injury absence, much to the delight of Clark, who feels the Bradford-born midfielder is a proven match-winner. Clark told the club's official website: "Danny's all-round game was excellent. In the last two games the real Danny Ward has come out - and what a weapon that is for the second half of the season. "I spoke to Danny privately, so he knew how I felt. He is that good - he could be the difference for us during the second half of the season. "Danny can change a match in an instant. He has got pace, power and two terrific feet. In our last two games Danny has been terrific for us."
