York have made their second signing of the week after bringing in youngster Ben Davies on loan from Preston.
The 17-year-old utility player, who has come through the ranks at Deepdale, has signed for an initial month with the option to extend. He follows veteran striker Richard Cresswell through the arrivals door at Bootham Crescent after the former Sheffield United man signed a one-year deal earlier in the week.
