Wycombe manager Gary Waddock has hailed veteran midfielder Gareth Ainsworth as "the model professional".
Ainsworth, 37, began his league career with Preston in 1992 and could mark his 500th career appearance with his 100th career goal when the Chairboys face rivals Oxford on Saturday. Waddock said: "It would be a fantastic achievement for Gaz. He is the model professional, he wants to win every game and looks after himself. "He is a great example to all of our players."
