Academy product Shaun Brisley has put pen to paper on a two-year deal at Macclesfield Town.

The versatile central defender, who has played in both full-back positions for the Silkmen, made his debut in 2008 in Keith Alexander's first game in charge. He has gone on to make over 100 appearances for Macclesfield but a hip injury saw him miss six months of last season. Brisley is the latest player to commit his future at Moss Rose as manager Gary Simpson awaits further news from the likes of Hamza Bencherif and Lewis Chalmers.
