Wilder not feeling the pressure

Oxford manager Chris Wilder says he doesn't feel under pressure after their fourth straight loss, a 2-1 defeat to Cheltenham.

The U's have tumbled to 16th after winning all of their three opening league fixtures, suffering their worst run of form for nearly two years. Peter Leven's 80th-minute penalty was unable to inspire a late comeback at Whaddon Road after Cheltenham went ahead through Darren Carter and on-loan striker Shaun Harrad. Wilder said: "I don't think my position is under threat at all. It is all about where you finish at the end of the season. "I know that if we keep producing this type of performance this sort of result will soon turn into a win. "There's no getting away from it being a disappointing period for us at the moment but I am certain that if we continue to show the same levels of commitment and desire, a win is just round the corner."
