Reid ruled out for Bantams

Bradford's worst fears have been realised as midfielder Kyel Reid has been ruled out for six weeks with a groin injury.

Reid, who sustained the injury after an awkward fall midway through the first half of Tuesday night's goalless draw at Rochdale, learned the full extent of damage following scan results on Thursday. The 24-year-old has been an ever-present in manager Phil Parkinson's side this season, but will be sidelined until the end of November after tearing part of a tendon in the groin area away from the bone. Ricky Ravenhill, who has recently recovered from a long-term knee injury, is expected to replace Reid in Parkinson's midfield at Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday.
