Fleetwood manager Micky Mellon believes the 2-1 victory at Chesterfield is another sign of the progress his team are making.
A late Chris Atkinson own goal settled an end-to-end contest after Tendayi Darikwa's volley had cancelled out Steven Gillespie's early strike. It was the Cod Army's fourth away win of the season and Mellon said: "We have a lot of respect for Chesterfield and do not for one minute underestimate how big a three points this is for us. "We knew it was going to be very difficult because we are in a fledgling season in this division and it's very early for us. But we are not getting carried away and if we keep believing and all buy into it, we will be fine and will do well. "We know we are a project in the making but we are enjoying ourselves and are coming to some tough places and getting results. I thought we were fantastic in the first half and if we had gone in two or three up, it would have been deserved. "We had five really good chances to make the score more comfortable. Chesterfield showed spirit to get back in it but we stayed organised and got a goal right at the very end."
