Zebroski: Promotion on cards

Chris Zebroski is backing Cheltenham to be in the promotion mix after his late winner moved the Robins into third place.

The former Torquay striker struck his fourth goal of the season with five minutes to go to beat Burton on Saturday, a victory that meant Mark Yates' side are now only five points behind leaders Gillingham ahead of the trip to Rotherham. "I think it's quite open in this league and I have been with some good teams at this level before, but I look at our squad and I know we have the players for it," Zebroski told the Gloucestershire Echo. "If we can keep everyone fit, then we can get promoted this year definitely." The 26-year-old has now scored in his last two home games but knows he has to stay on top of his game if he is to remain in the side with Darryl Duffy and Jeff Goulding providing stiff competition. "It's good for the manager to have options because we have four good strikers here and if I am not doing the business I know I won't be in the team for long," he said. " I think I have been quite unlucky so far this season, hitting the bar and post few times, but as long as I'm creating chances I am confident I can put the ball in the back of the net. It's always nice to hit the back of the net and I've scored two in two at home so hopefully my luck has turned and I can keep that going now."
