Ian Evatt insists thoughts of Wembley must be put on the backburner while Chesterfield concentrate winning the League Two title.
The Spireites, currently top of the table, sealed a return to the national stadium and a second appearance in three years in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final after winning the competition in 2012 with a 3-2 aggregate victory over Fleetwood. It will be a fourth time at Wembley for Evatt against Peterborough on March 30 but the 32-year-old knows he and his team-mates have important league fixtures in the meantime. "Every kid dreams of playing at Wembley. I've been lucky enough to do it a few times but it's at the back of our minds now," said Evatt, who enjoyed play-off final success with Blackpool in 2007 and 2010 before being on the losing side with the Seasiders in 2012. "Everyone's goal was to get to Wembley and win the league. We've done the first one and no one can take it away from us. We are top of the league so now we have to make sure we stay there. "It's a great achievement to get to Wembley but our main aim this season is to win this league. Our destiny is in our hands and we just need to keep playing well. "This group of players are so focused on getting this club up where it deserves to be, we just need to maintain what we've been doing for most of the season."
