Highly-rated midfielder Brad Walker has put pen to paper on a new deal at Hartlepool.
The 19-year-old, who was named League Two's Apprentice of the Year last season after an impressive debut campaign, has been an ever-present so far this term. Manager Colin Cooper told the club's official website: "We're delighted we've been able to give Brad a new contract. "He put in some excellent performances last season and has shown the signs that he's going to be able to do that again this year. "He's another young talented player at the club and we're all really pleased to be able to reward him for the strides he has made at such a young age."
