Hartlepool slash ticket prices

Hartlepool's new owner has reduced matchday ticket prices for next season just a few hours after the club takeover was announced.

Recruitment company JPNG, which specialises in the recruitment and IT industries and has offices in London and Dubai, completed a takeover on Friday before the club announced the deal on Monday. Pools have cut seating prices to £20 for adults and £10 for concessions, while standing admission has been decreased to £18 for adults and £9 for concessions. New chairman Gary Coxall told the club's official website: "The thing we looked at was how much the gate increased when the price was lowered last season. "This is a football club at the heart of the community and the fans are a massive, massive part of it - they showed at the end of last season what great fans they are. "This is a new era so let's have JPNG give something back to the fans straightaway and let's make sure that this place is absolutely packed in 2015/16."
