Up-and-coming goalkeeper Liam Roberts has penned a one-year contact extension at Walsall.
The 20-year-old stopper agreed professional terms with the Saddlers in 2013 and spent time on loan last year with non-league clubs as he bids to continue his development in the midlands. "I am pleased to sign this new deal and want to keep pushing on," Roberts told the club's official website. "I needed to get that match experience last season and I feel that my performances whilst out on loan helped me to get this new contract."
