Bowditch wants more goals

Striker Dean Bowditch hopes his double for MK Dons over the weekend will act as the catalyst for a scoring run.

The forward, who joined from Yeovil in the summer, last found the back of the net on September 3 before his brace in the 6-0 FA Cup win over Nantwich Although he has been asked to play out of his favoured striking position on several occasions, Bowditch believes his goals on Saturday could spur him on. "I don't care where I play whether it's up up top, in the hole, out wide, you've got to score goals," he told MK Dons Player. "That's what I count on myself for and it was just nice to get back on the scoresheet and add to my tally a little bit. "It's been a bit frustrating as I was on a bit of a barren run but it's nice to get on the scoresheet again and hopefully I can go on a better run."
