Huddersfield striker Jimmy Spencer has targeted a first-team breakthrough at the Galpharm Stadium next season.

Spencer, 20, the subject of a six-figure bid from Manchester City during his Huddersfield academy days, has yet to appear for the Terriers at senior level, spending this season on loan at Cheltenham, where he has scored nine goals. "It's been good. I'm enjoying my time at Cheltenham. It's a really good experience. All the lads, management and coaches at Cheltenham have been brilliant with me," Spencer told Huddersfield's official website. "Next season my aim is to come back here and get in this team. Hopefully I can come back and impress. "The lads all speak well of the new management team and it gives me the opportunity to come back here and make a good first impression. I'm aiming to impress."
