Notts County boss Chris Kiwomya wants his players to reproduce their showing at Liverpool when they play Rotherham on Saturday.

Notts County boss Chris Kiwomya has urged his players to reproduce their performance against Liverpool when they resume Sky Bet League One action at home to Rotherham at the weekend. The Magpies gave the Barclays Premier League club a scare in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday night, coming from two goals down to draw 2-2 at Anfield and take the second round tie into extra time. Yoann Arquin and substitute Adam Coombes scored in the second half after Raheem Sterling and Daniel Sturridge had seemingly put the Reds firmly in control inside 30 minutes. Kiwomya is now targeting a first league win of the season against newly-promoted Rotherham at Meadow Lane. "I thought the boys were magnificent the other night. They need to take this form into the game against Rotherham," said Kiwomya. "We conceded early and you think it's going to be one of those nights, but the energy and creativeness they showed to come back and score two goals was great. "We made a couple of tactical changes (at half-time) because Steven Gerrard was landing on the ball a lot and we were a lot better. Coombes scored that goal and I actually thought when that went in that we could go on and win it." Meanwhile, Notts County's League One game away at Leyton Orient next month has been postponed due to international call-ups. The Magpies were due to travel to Brisbane Road on September 7 but asked the the fixture to be rearranged with Greg Tempest (Northern Ireland Under-21), Mustapha Dumbuya (Sierra Leone) and Andre Boucaud (Trinidad & Tobago) away with their respective countries. A new date has yet to be decided.
