Rochdale have cancelled the contract of Kuagica David with the defender failing to start a single game since signing late last year.
The 21-year-old Angolan signed with Dale until the end of the season in November having impressed then boss Steve Eyre during a lengthy trial spell. However, he failed to make a single appearance for the League One strugglers and has been released after failing to break into the plans of new manager John Coleman. A brief statement on Rochdale's official website read: "We would like to thank David for his services and send him our best wishes for the future."
