Dagenham have loaned striker Rob Edmans to Blue Square Bet Premier side Macclesfield on a three-month deal.

The 25-year-old struggled to break into the Daggers' first team last season. He joined the club from Chelmsford City while recovering from a broken leg and did not make his debut until January, ending the campaign on loan at Dover Athletic. Dagenham boss John Still told the club's website: "We've decided to loan out Rob. Obviously he had a broken leg when he joined us last season, but he got over that, trained well and when the season ended he was fine. "He's come back in pre-season and he's trained well but I just feel that he wouldn't start for us this year as he has lost a lot of game time. "He'll hopefully come back truly match-fit which would be a plus for us. We wish him luck in his loan spell and look forward to him coming back and really pushing hard for a place."
