Home struggles puzzle Vincenti

Aldershot midfielder Peter Vincenti is at a loss to explain why the Shots have struggled at home this season.

Saturday's 4-2 win over Rochdale was only the club's second home league win this campaign and 13 of their 21 points have come away from the EBB Stadium so far. But the 26-year-old is hopeful the club can build on the victory and climb away from the League Two drop zone. He told BBC Surrey: "The home form has been disappointing this season and we know that. We really can't put our finger on why. "We go away from home and are so confident at places that we feel like we're not going to get beaten. "I felt there was a real focus from the lads to put it right (on Saturday) and we showed character. "We almost had to remember that we can win at home. It's been that sort of run of games for us." The Shots are currently three points above 23rd-placed Bristol Rovers but Vincenti believes the club are now going in the right direction. He added: "We're disappointed with where we find ourselves but I think gradually we are putting it right."
