AFC Wimbledon have announced the signing former Tottenham midfielder Jake Nicholson.
Nicholson came through the ranks at White Hart Lane and made his debut - and only appearance for Spurs - in the Europa League against Hearts in 2011. He was released last summer and subsequently joined Morton, playing a handful of games for the Scottish club. But the 21-year-old has returned to London with the Dons. He tweeted: "[I am] pleased to have joined AFC Wimbledon - fresh start for me back in English football."
