Kiradech Aphibarnrat shot 67 for a third consecutive day to get to 12-under par and claim a spot in the final group for Sunday at the British Masters.

Kiradech Aphibarnrat hopes to replicate his form from the opening three rounds at the British Masters as he aims to clinch the title at Woburn on Sunday.

Aphibarnrat posted a bogey-free four-under-par round, his third consecutive 67 score of the week, to give him the share of the lead with Matthew Fitzpatrick.

And although the 26-year-old believes he did not play at his best, he was pleased with the overall result as he chases his fourth European Tour title.

"Well, today, it doesn't have any particular good shot," said Aphibarnrat. "I made a lot of putts on the front nine but the iron play isn't sharp, the first two rounds. At the end, the last two, 17 and 16, close putt but can't make it. Just look forward to play tomorrow.

"Still if I play [like] the first three rounds, I have a lot of chance to get the job done by tomorrow. Just hopefully the iron play is still sharp and sink more putts."

Aphibarnrat looked in good form on the putting surface but said his iron play must improve if he is to maintain his position at the top of the leaderboard.

"I just tried to keep the ball in play today," added Aphibarnrat. "Driving much better [in the] first two rounds but iron play wasn't sharp [as] the first two rounds. I'm still putting well. Today was happy to play more bogey-free. That's the target that I make before I tee off."

Fabrizio Zanotti scored his best round of the week so far, a five-under-par 66, to place him tied-second alongside Soren Kjeldsen.

"You have to be patient on this golf course," said Zanotti. "Greens are a little tricky, so I had my chances on the first five holes but I keep patient and then the birdies come.

"Tomorrow I'm going to come and try to do the same I've been doing these three days, and if it's going to be my day, great."
