Announcer makes a mess of introducing Jimmy Walker at PGA National

Watch as the Honda Classic announcer fluffs his lines as Jimmy Walker takes to the first tee.

Jimmy Walker was on the receiving end of an unfortunate name-check just before the start of his third round at the Honda Classic.

The world No 25 was part of the final pairing to tee off on Saturday alongside overnight leader Rickie Fowler, but was left smirking after being mistakenly introduced by the wrong name.

After the red-faced announcer quickly realised that 'Jimmy Fowler' wasn't the man at the first tee, he soon apologised and introduced Walker by his correct surname.

The name error didn't seem to affect Walker, who went on to par his opening two holes, but brought plenty of smiles from the spectators around the first.

It's not the first time an announcer has made a mess of the introductory duties, with Rory McIlroy mistakenly named as the 2019 Dubai Desert Classic champion last month.
