Sergio Garcia has told the rookies on Europe's Ryder Cup team they will have to fight hard to get a fourth consecutive victory

Sergio Garcia says the criticism of the European team has provided even more motivation for Darren Clarke's side to retain the Ryder Cup this week.

Former major winner and American commentator Johnny Miller claimed last week that Europe, who will have six Ryder Cup rookies in their side, had "the worst team they've had in many years".
