Gareth Bale has taken his love of golf to a new level by installing replicas of some of the sports’ most iconic holes in his back garden.

The Real Madrid star decided in 2015 to have three famous par-three holes created at his house in south Wales, with new aerial images showing one of them fully completed.

Shots show that Bale has his own version of TPC Sawgrass' 17th hole installed at the property, with the design including the island green and other similarities of the infamous Stadium Hole.

The project also reportedly includes plans to have versions of the infamous Postage Stamp at Royal Troon and the par-three 12th at Augusta National created.

Bale is a single-figure handicapper who has appeared in a number of celebrity golf events in recent years, with the Welshman now having a new place to practice his golfing talents.
