With just a couple of weeks remaining before golf takes a break for the festive season, we're asking you for your stand-out shot of 2016.
One of the best was produced by Danny Willett at The Masters, and it was arguably the most significant tee shot to a par-three over the season.
Willett arrived on the 16th tee on the final day knowing he was leading the first major of the season following Jordan Spieth's astonishing collapse, and the Englishman defied nerves to hit one of the best eight-irons of his career.
His pure strike to six feet set up a crucial birdie which took him three shots clear of the field, and two closing pars wrapped up Willett's maiden major title.
The following month saw Will Wilcox achieve a rare feat on the iconic 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass as he made the loudest hole-in-one of the year in the second round of The Players Championship.
Wilcox sent the thousands of fans in the galleries into raptures with his perfect wedge to the island green, his ball pitching 10 feet short of the target before rolling gently into the cup.
It was only the seventh ace at 17 since the tournament's inception in 1974, the first since Miguel Angel Jimenez made an ace in 2002, and it was definitely the first with a yellow ball!
Just over a week later, and Rory McIlroy achieved his dream of winning on home soil as he struck two of the best fairway-woods of his career on the 16th and 18th in the final round of the Irish Open.
McIlroy's sensational three-wood to the treacherous par-five 16th at the K Club set up a comfortable two-putt birdie which , but even better was to follow at the closing hole.
Shrugging off the pressure and the expectations of the partisan galleries, McIlroy laced a stunning five-wood from just over 250 yards to within two feet of the cup to set up a tap-in for eagle.
Completing our list of the best shots of the year is Dustin Johnson, who finally made his major breakthrough after several near-misses when he landed the US Open title at Oakmont in June.
Johnson led as he arrived at the 72nd tee, although he was unsure what his advantage was having been told he was under investigation for an incident on the fifth hole when his ball moved on the green moments before he addressed it with the putter.
But he made absolutely certain of the win when he followed a perfect drive with a magnificent mid-iron from 191 yards, uphill, arrow-straight and to within three feet of the flag. He would later describe it as "the shot of my life".
