Jeunghun Wang secured a third European Tour title with a dramatic victory in a three-way play-off at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters.
The overnight leader posted a one-under 71 in blustery conditions at Doha GC to join Jaco Van Zyl and Joakim Lagergren in a three-way play-off, before prevailing with a close-range birdie at the first extra hole.
Playing in the final group, Wang and Van Zyl both opened with back-to-back birdies before the South African reduced the gap to two with a two at the par-three next.
Van Zyl holed from the fringe at the fifth but handed his shot back with a three-putt at the seventh, as Lorenzo-Vera followed a front-nine 32 with a hat-trick of gains from the 11th to move within one.
Lagergren surged into contention with five consecutive birdies from the eighth, with Thomas Aiken posting a fourth gain of the day at the 11th to join the share of second.
Soon after Wang bogeyed the 14th, Lorenzo-Vera briefly grabbed a share of the advantage with an eagle putt from off the 16th green but slipped back with dropped shots over his final two holes.
A birdie-three from Lagergren at the 16th saw him close a six-under 66 and set the clubhouse target, as Wang followed a gain at the same hole with a missed par-save from six feet at the next to stay at 16 under.
Wang parred the last to join Lagergren and Van Zyl in the play-off, where he received a free drop after firing his approach in to an obstruction.
The Korean then chipped to three feet and holed the winning birdie, as Van Zyl three-putted for par and Lagergren's birdie try stopped just short.
Aiken and Lorenzo-Vera ended the week tied-fourth, with Jordan Smith firing a bogey-free 66 to join Spanish pair Rafa Cabrera-Bello and Nacho Elvira a further stroke back.
Ryder Cup star Chris Wood posted a five-under 67 to end the week tied-12th, while Alex Noren finished the week on nine under.
