Fichardt's fifth European Tour title gives him a first major appearance since 2010, while Waring will play in The Open for the first time since the tournament was last held at Royal Birkdale in 2008.

"I'm absolutely made up to be going back to Royal Birkdale," Waring said. "I've got some great memories from there. I played on the Sunday with (Phil) Mickelson last time, so I am more than happy to be going back there."

Manley fired seven birdies during his final round at Royal Johannesburg and Kensington GC, with the Welshman closing his five-under 67 with back-to-back gains.
