Matt Wallace, Adrian Otaegui share lead at Volvo China Open

Highlights from the third round of the Volvo China Open at Topwin Golf and Country Club.

Matt Wallace posted a three-under 69 to cling onto a share of the lead heading into the final round of the Volvo China Open.

Wallace mixed four birdies with a sole blemish at Topwin Golf and Country Club to get to 12 under and move alongside Adrian Otaegui - who carded a blemish-free 67 - at the top of the leaderboard.

Jorge Campillo birdied three of his final four holes to share third spot with Julien Guerrier and Alexander Bjork, with Paul Dunne part of the group two strokes off the pace.

Defending champion Alexander Levy posted a joint-low round-of-the-day 65 to move up a bunched leaderboard, where 24 players are within four shots of the lead.

Beginning the day with a one-shot lead, Wallace holed a 10-footer at the third and posted a two-putt birdie at the eighth on his way to a front-nine 34.

Otaegui fired a hat-trick of birdies around the turn and matched playing partner Julien Guerrier's gain at the 11th to move in to a three-way tie at the top, only for Wallace to move back ahead by holing from 15 feet at the 10th.

The Spaniard picked a fifth straight gain at the par-five 12th and closed out a blemish-free card to set the clubhouse target, as Wallace birdied the 15th and holed a 20-footer to save par at the next.

Wallace lost his outright advantage after missing from eight feet at the 17th, before recovering from finding the trees off the 18th tee to save par at the last.
