Kings XI Punjab made it four straight wins to start the Indian Premier League season with a 23-run victory against Kolkata Knight Riders in Abu Dhabi.
Opener Virender Sehwag top scored for the Kings XI with 37 out of a total of 132-9 after they had been sent in to bat.
Spinners Sunil Narine (3-424) and Piyush Chawla (3-19) each claimed three wickets for the Knight Riders.
Kolkata were bowled out for 109 in reply, Kings XI seamer Sandeep Sharma finishing with figures of 3-21.
Sharma was well supported by new-ball partner Mitchell Johnson (2-22) and left-arm spinner Akshar Patel (2-16).
Australian paceman Johnson bowled Umesh Yadav with the second delivery of the penultimate over to seal the win.
The Kings XI sit top of the IPL table, two points clear of Chennai Super Kings.
