Floyd Mayweather has added more fuel to the speculation over the prospect of stepping into the ring again with Conor McGregor.
Mayweather extended his unbeaten record to 50 fights after a 10th-round stoppage of the Irishman in Las Vegas in August and the rumour mill concerning a rematch continues to gather pace on social media.
At the end of January, Mayweather posted a video of himself inside a mixed martial arts cage and on Friday night the 40-year-old was at it again.
Wearing mixed martial arts gloves and standing in a UFC cage, Mayweather tweeted: "Billion Dollar Man".
After losing in the summer, McGregor demanded a rematch under MMA rules and it seems the fighter from Dublin would not shirk another opportunity to take on the American.
UFC lightweight champion McGregor tweeted on Tuesday: "Hahahaha very good. Keep up the good work my son. Yours sincerely, Senior."
And two days later, McGregor said: "If it is [for publicity], it will follow him for the rest of his days that he did not do it.
"I said I would do it, and I stepped up and I done it. His time now. His go now."
