GB hockey gold medallists speak to Sky Sports about their move to Holland

Team GB hockey gold medallists Maddie Hinch, Sophie Bray, and Kate and Helen Richardson-Walsh explain how they are adjusting to life in the Netherlands.

After defeating the Netherlands to win gold in the Olympic final in Rio, four members of the GB hockey squad signed with Hoofdklasse Women League clubs in Holland.

Kate and Helen Richardson-Walsh are in Bloemendaal, one of the most successful clubs in the Netherlands. While Sophie Bray has joined Kampong, and at nearby club Stichtse is goalkeeper Hinch.

It means the Olympians are now team-mates with the same players they beat in the final in Rio and Hinch said she tries not not to give too many GB tactics away.

"They [Stichtse squad] were quite intrigued by a couple of things we had done in Rio," the 28-year-old revealed. "I was a bit like I don't really feel I can tell them a lot of this stuff because I will need this later down the line as well."
