Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck expected to resume throwing next week

Andrew Luck has been ruled out of practice this week but could return next week, according to Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano.
Pagano had said on Monday that there was "a chance" Luck could be on the practice field this week. Indy's franchise quarterback hasn't practiced since having surgery on his throwing shoulder in January.
"He will not practise this week," Pagano said. "He's still a week away as far as his throwing progression and things like that. So we'll keep him out of practice this week and hopefully integrate him back in next week."
Pagano added that nothing has happened to Luck since Monday to make him change his stance.
"He's doing great. Nothing's changed," Pagano said. "We were hopeful, and it didn't work out."
Without Luck, the Colts have turned to second-year quarterback Jacoby Brissett, who has played well in his first two starts.
He ran for two touchdowns and threw for another in last week's 31-28 win over Cleveland in Indy's first win this season.
Brissett faces a much bigger challenge this Sunday when the Colts (1-2) visit Seattle (1-2).
Despite Brisset's success, Luck's team-mates are eagerly awaiting the return of their $140m quarterback.
"Number 12, he's our man," running back Frank Gore said earlier this week. "He really makes this ship go. With him, it'll be even greater. He loves the game. That's one guy that I think loves football more than me. He loves football and I respect him. My three years here, that's a football player. Tough, smart, true football player."
