Pick Six: Will Jimmy Graham and Martavis Bryant be traded?

SEATTLE, WA - OCTOBER 29: Tight end Jimmy Graham #88 of the Seattle Seahawks celebrates after scoring the winning touchdown to beat the Houston Texans 41-3

The NFL's trade deadline is Tuesday, October 31 (8pm UK) and there is a distinct possibility of high-profile player movement in the United States.

The NFL is not normally massively busy around this time of the year when it comes to transactions but there are quite a few rebuilding teams who may offload talent to playoff contenders with a hole to fill.

Here are six storylines and names to look out for in the next 24 hours. Could these players be about to find new homes?

Jimmy Graham - TE, Seattle Seahawks

Sport Illustrated's Pete King reflects on the main talking points from Week Eight in the NFL

When Peter King, of the MMQB.com website, joined us on our show on Sunday night, he felt this was the trade rumour that had the most legs. Graham is a bulked up receiver who adds no blocking value to the Seahawks at tight end and there is a school of thought that Seattle would try to move him in exchange for a player who can upgrade their offensive line. Graham's response? Two touchdown catches on Sunday night, including the game-winner with 21 seconds remaining in a 41-38 thriller against Houston.

Duane Brown - OT, Houston Texans

Did the Seahawks get an early look at their impending offensive tackle this week? Pro Bowler Brown has only just ended a lengthy holdout with the Texans, possibly with a view to getting himself moved to another team. I personally don't think Houston should move him on, but would they be able to resist a deal that sees them grab Graham as another weapon for Deshaun Watson, along with possible draft picks?

Some high-profile names have been linked with a last minute move away from their franchise, we are tracking all the moves (and gossip) right here

Martavis Bryant - WR, Pittsburgh Steelers

Demanding a trade doesn't necessarily mean you are going to get moved on, but the Steelers might be glad to get shot of their problematic receiver, especially given the development of his young replacement/rival, JuJu Smith-Schuster. Bryant is not going to crack into the workload of Antonio Brown or Le'Veon Bell so would be best served forcing a move out of Pittsburgh. But would there be enough - if any - interested parties in a troublesome player who is one failed drugs test away from being banned from the NFL indefinitely?

Vontae Davis - CB, Indianapolis Colts

The Colts have the look of a team preparing for a total rebuild and that might mean seeing what they can get for a declining Pro Bowl talent like cornerback Vontae Davis. The Colts have been poor on defense in recent years and Davis has missed time through injuries. Now could be the time to get what they can for a veteran who has name recognition and pedigree, if not recent form.

T.Y. Hilton - WR, Indianapolis Colts

It's 'trade one, get one free' time at the Colts. This is a train wreck of a team and general manager Chris Ballard appears totally fine with clearing house and getting 'his guys' into the building. Hilton is the one offensive star to get excited about in Indy, though, and trading away Andrew Luck's favourite target is not going to sit well with the franchise quarterback when he returns from injury. Unless the Colts are planning to move Luck to another team as well. Surely not!

The best of the rest

NEW ORLEANS, LA - DECEMBER 04: Eric Ebron #85 of the Detroit Lions catches the ball as Vonn Bell #48 of the New Orleans Saints defends during the first hal
Image: Might Eric Ebron be another moving on to new surroundings?

There are too many rumoured moves to pick one final name for the list. But keep an eye out for the following to be finding a new home… Detroit Lions tight end Eric Ebron, San Francisco 49ers running back Carlos Hyde (I wouldn't be surprised if he joins the Minnesota Vikings) and Buffalo Bills offensive tackle Cordy Glenn (possibly to Seattle). Perhaps the most far-fetched rumour doing the rounds on Sunday night was that teams were contacting Detroit with a view to acquiring the rights to retired wide receiver Calvin Johnson, who has not played in the NFL since the 2015 season. That would make a great headline but I cannot see that one happening.
