NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell discusses the possibility of the NFL draft being held elsewhere

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has already held talks about moving the NFL Draft from Chicago to another city in America.

The 2016 Draft will be staged this evening at the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago, where stars from collegiate football will find out which NFL team they will be representing.

But this annual pre-season event could be on the move as NFL boss Goodell has revealed there is 'tremendous interest' from other cities, who are vying to host the Draft.

Goodell told Sky Sports News' Richard Graves that he expects to make a decision this summer as the NFL considers the available locations.

NFL teams will play three games in England this year, with Twickenham stadium being used as a venue for the very first time.

Goodell has suggested this schedule will increase in the coming years, due to the growing demand in the United Kingdom.

"They have shown that they can do this. They have shown that the interest is there in the UK," he said.
