Making it to the NFL requires years of ambition, dedication and sacrifice. Of all the players that play college football, only 1.6% make it to the pros. For those looking to make it from outside of the college system, it is virtually impossible.
NFL UK ambassador Osi Umenyiora wants to change that by giving talented European players a chance at achieving their dream.
Umenyiora, who was born in London before going on to win two Super Bowls with the New York Giants, spent the off-season working with NFL Europe, identifying three talented players and giving them the opportunity to prove themselves in front of NFL coaches.
Undiscovered follows the paths of three European talents looking to achieve their dream of playing for an NFL franchise.
Working with British coach Aden Durde and speed guru Tony Villani, the players will train like pros, make visits to teams, and experience the highs and lows of chasing the dream.
Over 12 mini-episodes, the players will have to prove themselves against current free agents and those coming from college, all trying to make it to the NFL. This is their shot. Can they take it?
