See how Tom Brady reacts when asked about the future of America with Donald Trump as President

Tom Brady cut a press conference short when questioning turned to his friend, and Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump.

Brady and Trump have been friends for more than a decade, their relationship having started when the New England Patriots quarterback was invited to be a judge at the businessman's beauty pageant.

Trump was condemned over the weekend after sexist comments made in 2005 were made public, although he termed them as "locker room talk" after he made an apology soon after they were broadcast.

The subject came up in Brady's press conference at Gillette Stadium on Wednesday, but he was not in the mood to talk about Trump.

"Thank you guys, have a good day," was Brady's smiling response after the question was posed to him about what his reaction would be if such talk took place in front of his own children.

Tom Brady talks us through his preparations for his first home game with the New England Patriots following his ban from NFL

Brady returned to action last week after his four-game ban for 'Deflategate' was finally served and completed - he threw three touchdown passes to Martellus Bennett in a 33-13 win over the Cleveland Browns.

He is now preparing for his Foxboro 'homecoming' with the Patriots hosting the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday as they look to improve to 5-1 on the season.

Before leaving the press conference, Brady said: "It feels like I am still getting into it. Even last week I was just working my way back. Monday and Tuesday this week felt a bit more normal and hopefully that continues.

"I look forward to playing every week and certainly this will be a fun game. It's always fun to be out there. We have a great crowd and hopefully we can give them lots of reasons to cheer."
